The demand for better cyber security is unquestionable while at the same time there is a huge skills gap. To accelerate the competence supply in this field, The Upskill Company are joining forces with Microsoft Sweden.
With this collaboration, new opportunities to find the right competence are opening up for Microsoft’s clients. This is a long term strategic choice in skill supply, and a way to grow your internal competence in this field.
The aim of the project is to upskill people and make them ready for a new career within cyber security, specifically in the role of a Security Operations Analyst. During the accelerated learning the participants will learn and understand the field of SecOps with a focus on Sentinel and Defender. After a year working as consultants, there is a cost-free option to offer employment.
What will they
be able to do?
After the accelerated learning program they will work as SecOps Analysts, and be able to investigate, respond to, and hunt for threats using Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, and Microsoft 365 Defender. It also covers how to mitigate cyberthreats using these technologies. Specifically, learners configure and use Azure Sentinel, in addition to working with Kusto Query Language (KQL), to perform detection, analysis, and reporting.
The program will cover the basics of some Azure functions, such as SQL Database, Storage and Virtual Machines as well as Microsoft 365, networks and scripting. After the training they will be qualified for certification in SC-200 and SC-900.
In addition to the technical skills the training will include other areas of importance to any role, such as communication, self leadership, methods for learning, ways of working and agile methodologies.
We’ll start the recruitment process in December and the program starts in March. Location is Stockholm initially, but other locations will be added during the year.
Cost for the client is a consultancy fee during 12 months. After a year there is a cost-free option to offer they employment and by this growing your internal competence.
